A Walk in the Woods

I see a Barred Owl from the corner of my eye.
Is it stretching its wing or getting ready to fly?
With intense eyes, the owl stares.
I am concerned and a little scared.
I raise my camera and push the button.
Now I know this event will not be forgotten.

Barred Owl

I am a barred owl whose skill is to hunt.
Like night-light vision and soulful brown eyes,
I can search from high in a darken sky.
In a dash and swoop, my prey I confront.

By day, I rest and snooze within a tree.
If I’m awakened by an unknown sound
With eyes wide open, I look all around.
my head turns to all sides so I can see.

Young Blue Jay

Spring has sprung as a blue jay’s young;
Clings its feet to a budding branch lightly green.
Oh! how low this cunning bird roams,
From high up is its home.

Artificial or Real Light

Artificial snow flakes glow under a darken sky.

Tears of sadness flow from His cry.

Once this was paradise when all was nice.

Now you wander aimlessly, blinded without real light.

Seek the true light and your way will always be bright.

Clock of Time

Our Life time is often wasted in haste and waste.

God’s time is not fast or slow; it continues with a steady pace.

Tick tock, tick tock is the rhythm of the clock.

A humans’ time is without a lock.

For some, time is short, and for others time is long.

How long is it to the end of the song?

Humans will rush time or try to hold back time.

But in the end, God’s time will continue to hold its chime.

Tick tock, tick tock is the rhythm of the clock.

Days of Wisdom and Foolishness

This a poem I felt bless to write.  I wrote it in sonnet.  I hope you all enjoy it.

Wisdom is a knowledge that is divine.

Foolishness is a lacking of good sense.

During these new times evil has no fence.

Thoughts of injustice fill our soul and mind.

Fools will not believe and will mock their sin.

Our efforts and pleas seem inadequate.

But God’s justice will reign and handle it.

God sees clearly for in the end sin will not win.

Be patient, our Lord has not let us down.

Jesus will come to carry up the good.

He will always proudly wear the kings’ crown.

I trust my Lord for He said he will come.

Trust Jesus for His angels will rebound.

In revelations the end is understood.

A Piece of Advice

Haiku: Black, White, and Color

shadow.jpg

Black and white alone
is without red blue and yellow,
solely shades of grey

Are your days cloudy?
Let the sun through with bright hues,
Colors burst with joy

Paint a cheerful life,
mix the red blue and yellow,
live a blended life
